There are many things that make training facilities different from one another. At Ocean Quest we are committed to offering the best course available.
Things you will find different at Ocean Quest:
- Lowest student to instructor ratios in the Lower Mainland!
Ocean Quest utilizes the smallest student to instructor ratios in the lower mainland. Our ratios are typically 3 to 4 people per instructor when diving in the pool or ocean!! In addition, we have the same instructors involved throughout the course. This ensures that student’s skill levels are tracked throughout the program by the same instructional staff and allows instructors to recognize and focus on student’s strengths and weaknesses. Many stores use ratios of 6 or even 8 students per instructor and often have a different instructor throughout your program.
- Quality Instruction/Experienced Instructors
We take pride in our training and want you to have the best time ever!!
We are the only store owned and operated by a PADI Course Director (Instructor Trainer) in the Lower Mainland. This means we personally train all of our instructors and pick the best ones to work for us.
In addition, you will find our progressive educational techniques make learning to dive easy. PADI Course Director's are chosen by PADI to represent the highest instructor rating available in the PADI System. Due to their role in the diving industry, Course Directors are held to a higher accountability by PADI and the diving industry. This means you can expect nothing but the best from Ocean Quest.
- We haul the gear.
We will transport the equipment back and forth to the pool and ocean dives saving you time and effort!! Many stores make you responsible for transporting all of the equipment to and from the dive store before and after all pool and ocean dives.
Student rates: Our special student rates on rentals and purchases making diving affordable.
Organized dives: Every weekend we conduct free organized dives to make getting out diving easy after your course is complete, PADI Divemaster and buddies provided!!
Most important…we make diving FUN!!!
