Capilano U Professional Scuba Dive Instructor Program Testimonials

I'm still working for Deep Blue Divers in Utila as head instructor, and Luke and Miranda have joined me here for a while as our shops other 2 instructors. So the only 3 instructors at Deep Blue right now are all graduates of the Professional Scuba Dive Instructor program and we're doing really well, the shop is getting busier and busier and our manager is very impressed with how we're running courses.

I just wanted to thank you so much for your patience and everything that you did for all of us I know it changed my life and all of our lives for the extreme better and you couldn't be a better teacher.  I can't imagine how hard it was to teach us now that I am slightly on the other side of things.  I just really wanted to thank you so much.  I feel way to lucky to have had this experience.

Scuba Diving on the Sunshine Coast is fantastic. There are many great sites that are easily accessible from shore, and with an air compressor available 24 hours, diving was easy and convenient both day and night. The Professional Scuba Diving Program at Cap U on the Sunshine Coast gave me the opportunity and resources I needed to be successful in my career. After Graduation, with the help of the Capilano University teaching staff, I had the necessary skills to begin teaching in Coast Rica. Currently, I work full time managing a diving shop in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia, and am able to teach and dive some of the best sites the BC coast has to offer.

Hi Jim,

I just had a call from Matthew's Mom and she said he is doing incredible.  Club Med in Turks and Caicos wants him to stay for another year, but he said he wants to travel so they offered him the opportunity to stay with Club Med.

Mom said it was worth every $$$$$.

Cheers

The scuba program at Capilano University literally changed my life. I met people who will be lifelong friends, I learned from the best & it opened up a world of opportunities that I would of never even dreamed about. I recommend this course to pretty much every person who is looking to do something different with their life. You get to dive some of the best dive sites in British Columbia and learn hands on with some of the most knowledgeable and respected dive instructors.  The experience is something that I will talk about for the rest of my life. I am only 19 and already have a career started. The Scuba Program was the best 8 months of my life so far!

The Professional Scuba Instructor program at Capilano University was a career starting experience that changed the course of my life. This course literally opened the world up to me. Wherever there is water, there is scuba diving.  This course gave me the skills I needed to succeed in the tourism industry, and gave me a heads up on what’s happening in the world of tourism. The course was taught by professionals for professionals with the up most quality and expertise. This professional attitude and safety that was taught to me gave me a great understanding on how to succeed in this business. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a rewarding and exciting career.

This course was the best thing I could have done. I started the course never having dived before and now I can think of no better way to spend ALL my time. I feel that I could not have received better dive training anywhere as the instructors at Ocean Quest were always accessible and patient with my endless questions."

The Capilano College Dive program was an amazing experience. The Sunshine Coast offers some of the best dive sites in North America. Through this program I learned a lot about risk management and marine interpretation. I gained valuable knowledge about diving and instruction, and gained many new friends along the way. I am now currently working in the Caribbean for a dive/sail teen summer program and I look forward to my future dive instructor jobs to come.
