PADI Open Water Program

The PADI Open Water Diver program is the most popular course offered at Ocean Quest. This course is your ticket to the exciting adventure of the underwater world. The course covers simple academic principles, and emphasizes actual diving experiences starting off in the pool, and then progressing to the ocean.

For your course, you are provided with all basic scuba equipment, your own PADI Open Water Manual, PADI Open Water DVD and dive tables which are yours to keep as a reference after the program. Due to the importance of fit and comfort, it is strongly recommend that students supply their own personal equipment (mask, snorkel and fins). These items may be purchased at a special Ocean Quest student rate.

British Columbia offers some of the most spectacular diving in the world. After you finish your course, we will give you many opportunities to experience British Columbia’s underwater world.
